--- BRAND NEW ITEM ---

Pulled from the depth, Outdom Records returns with another dose of uncompromising underground material on wax. For its ninth vinyl release, Outdom presents two well-known heads — none other than the founders of the label themselves: Latent & Retrolog, for a special split EP: “Vertigo EP” — a four-tracker odyssey through electro, tech-house, breaks and hypnotic techno, crafted with equal parts precision, tension and dancefloor-minded instinct.

This collaborative EP explores the sonic frontiers of an inexplicable feeling we all felt once: a sensation of dizziness or whirling, just as if the room was inexplicably spinning even though you're standing still… a familiar phenomenon called vertigo. This term also carries a deeper meaning: it evokes the sense of repetition inherent to life and the universe itself. A sensation that resonates clearly through the hypnotic and trippy musical identity of this EP, alongside the committed artistic vision of Outdom Records and its artists.

The desire to mesmerize through repetition and tension is also expressed visually on the B side’s artwork of this record, enhanced by the spinning optical effect created by the rotating vinyl itself (OP Art).

Across four carefully crafted cuts, Latent & Retrolog deliver a record designed for adventurous dancefloors: sharp rhythm science, heavyweight low-end pressure and mind-bending textures, all wrapped in a distinctly raw, UK-influenced and analog spirit.

Opening the A-side, “Danza Perpetua” sets the tone with menacing gritty vocals, hypnotic bassline and synth sequences, driven by an infectious groove that spirals deeper and deeper into motion. A2 “Alienation”, is stripped-back, driving and psychedelic — built around mutant acid-laced basslines and immersive UK-tinged atmospheres engineered for late-night hypnosis (with a dash of speed-garage influences).

Flip to the B-side and “The Creator” dives into more playful territory — tightly wound grooves, driving rhythms and unexpected twists gradually build a deep sense of futuristic tension and forward motion. Closing the journey, B2 “Last Round” delivers a final burst of emotional energy, combining punchy breaks, melancholic melodies, rolling basslines and dancefloor-ready intensity, making it the perfect closing track for any journey.

With Vertigo EP, Outdom Records once again pushes its vision of forward-thinking hybrid underground club music: playful yet precise, nostalgic yet futuristic, functional yet full of personality.

A record for selectors who like their dancefloors groovy, unpredictable, quirky and slightly dangerous.

WARNING: Side effects may include loss of orientation and uncontrollable body movement.
